Histology is the study of how tissues have been affected by disease. We take a nail or skin sample which appears infected and send it to the laboratory for analysis.

If we come across an abnormal lesion we will send a sample to the laboratory, with your written consent, to determine if the cells are cancerous or normal. Once we receive results we will arrange a referral to a specialist to begin treatment.

The NSC Medical Pedicure, carried out by a specialist, will transform your feet in appearance and feel. The feet are thoroughly checked for problem areas, then thoroughly cleaned, exfoliated and moisturised.

Only use the dressings that you have been issued with or advised to use by your podiatrist.

In the event of an infection, a course of antibiotics will be prescribed prior to the surgical procedure. We have antibiotic prescription rights, so you needn’t prolong your surgical treatment by acquiring a prescription from your GP or A&E, saving you valuable time.
