Simply Health Insurance

Prior to attending the Podiatry consultation, please ensure you contact your insurance company by calling Simply Health directly on 0800 197 6999, or online by clicking here: Simply.

  • Simply Health will discuss what percentage of the consultation fee will be covered by your cash plan insurance policy, ranging from 50 – 100% cover.
  • In all cases you will pay Nail Surgery Clinic on or before the day of consultation/treatment, and claim back your consultation fees.
  • Please request a formal invoice from the accounts team after your consultation by emailing contact@nailsurgeryclinic.co.uk or by asking your podiatrist. You will then submit your invoice directly to Simply health for reimbursement.
  • Generally, a GP/Consultant referral is not required for Simply Health.
  • Contact your insurance provider if you are in any doubt regarding your policy coverage prior to attending your Podiatry consultation.

Please also note that dressings, medication or medical devices such as orthotics, splints and medication are not covered. These will need to be paid for by the client.

Podiatry’s procedure codes:

Simply Health do not require specific procedures codes or a provider number, call your insurance company and ensure that your policy allows podiatry consultations to be covered.

WPA Insurance

Prior to attending the Podiatry consultation, please ensure you contact your insurance company by calling WPA directly on 0345 122 3100, or online by clicking here: WPA.

    • Ensure that you gain a pre-authorisation number.
    • Understand how much excess is on your policy, what fees are covered and advise the clinic.
    • Nail Surgery Clinic are happy to accept self-referrals, however you may require a GP/Consultant referral prior to attending. This will be discussed at the initial 10 minute consultation.
    • You will need to pay your Policy Excess directly to the clinic.
    • Contact your insurance provider if in any doubt regarding your policy coverage prior to attending your Podiatry consultation.
    • In most cases you will pay for your consultation and claim back your fees.

  • Please also note that dressings, medication or medical devices such as orthotics, splints and medication are not covered. These will need to be paid for by the client.

  • London Verruca Clinic are happy to accept self-referrals, however you may require a GP/Consultant referral prior to attending. This will be discussed at the initial 10 minute consultation.

  • London Verruca Clinic can bill CIGNA directly for you if we have the appropriate information.  Please speak to your podiatrist at your consultation.

    • Contact AVIVA if in any doubt regarding your policy coverage prior to attending your Podiatry consultation. Nail Surgery Clinic cannot speak with AVIVA on your behalf.
    • In most cases you will pay for your consultation and claim back your fees. If AVIVA fail to pay the consultation fee, Nail Surgery Clinic will post you an invoice to be paid within 30 days.

Healix Insurance

Prior to attending the Podiatry consultation, please ensure you contact your insurance company by calling Vitality directly on 020 8481 7720, or online by clicking here: Healix.

  • Your insurance company might require a referral from a GP/Consultant before your visit.
  • Please note that each new patient is fully required to obtain a pre-authorization code from Healix and submit it to London Verruca Clinic  prior to attending, so that we can directly invoice Healix for your sessions. Without pre-authorization, you’ll need to self-pay and seek reimbursement for your appointments.
  • Determine your excess amount, as this will be paid to London Verruca Clinic.
  • Know your policy fee limit for podiatry consultations, as the policy holder will be liable for expenses exceeding this limit.
  • If you have any doubts about your policy coverage, contact your provider before your podiatry appointment.

 

THINGS NOT COVERED

 It’s recommended for all members to contact Healix directly and verify your policy coverage since it’s the policyholder’s responsibility to comprehend what’s included. Please make sure that you notify the clinic prior to attending.
