Oversea student, under 25 years old, overall good health, no known allergy.
Onset: due to wearing incorrect shoes size that was narrow for a number of months.
Presentation:extremely painful nail, discoloration , thick and lifting of the nail.
Time frame of treatment: June 2023 – Oct 2023
Goal: to reduce pain and better appearance of nail
Procedure: nail surgery, medication and regular maintenance treatment.
Patient Plan: patient return oversea early, purchase suggested medication and management back overseas home with monitoring with online consultation quarterly.
Overall feedback: no longer in pain happy nail return back to normal and patient was able to wear open toe heels for graduation.
